Most Comfortable Tennis Shoes

No one wants their feet to hurt! There are so many aspects that factor into choosing shoes that are comfortable, from cushioning to fit. Our Tennis Warehouse playtesters wear test as many shoes as they can, and with their feedback we compile these lists. With their varied foot types, game styles and preferences, we picked these shoes as the best comfort tennis shoes of 2026. (Updated January 2026)

When considering comfortable tennis shoes, cushioning is just one factor. We think that how shoes fit your feet also play a role, so we've included our thoughts on whether the shoes run narrow, medium or wide to help guide you to the right comfort shoe for you.

Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2

What we love: The first version of the Wave Enforce Tour was a hit with its impressive blend of a lightweight feel along with plenty of cushioning and stability. We're in the early stages of our testing of the Wave Enforce Tour 2s, but early indications are that the update picks up right where the first one left off in terms of comfort. The cushioning gets updated to the ENERZ NXT foam for a responsive feel, and the uppers feel light and pliable. Our women's playtest team found these shoes to run a bit short, and some of them opted to wear a half size larger than usual.

Asics Court FF3

What we love: Designed for Novak Djokovic, the Asics Court FF 3s seem to be able to do it all. These shoes blend comfort, speed and stability. The FlyteFoam and GEL technologies in the midsole soften impacts to deliver comfort on the court. The shoes also hold up to aggressive movements. Some of our TW playtesters do find these shoes to run on the narrower side, and some of the women on the team would opt to wear the men's version for a more generous width fit. You can get all the details in our women's review and also read up on what the guys thought in the men's review.

Babolat SFX4

What we love: Designed for exceptional all-day comfort, the Babolat SFX 4s offer ample underfoot cushioning and a signature roomy fit. The Extra Cush foam midsole delivers an ultra-soft, plush ride, and the breathable mesh upper adds some nice flexibility and ventilation. All in all, the Babolat SFX 4s impress with their super plush cushioning, ventilation and reliable traction, but because the fit is roomy, some players might want to consider adjusting sizes to get that perfect, secure feel.

K-Swiss Ultrashot 4

What we love: Players looking for stability and durability in a tennis shoe will find exactly that in the KSwiss Ultrashot 4s. Our playtesters were eager to see how these shoes compare to previous iterations. They immediately found step-in comfort and soft cushioning underfoot as well as a very stable and supportive on-court experience. Beside the comfort, our playtesters were also impressed by the durability of this shoe.

adidas Solematch Control 2

What we love: The adidas SoleMatch Control 2 delivers impressive stability without sacrificing comfort, making it an appealing option for players who enjoy Boost cushioning. As the second generation of this popular line, it draws visual inspiration from the Barricade while integrating Boost foam into the midsole. Designed with stability as a priority, the shoe still offers a comfortable, plush ride and features a roomy toe box for added comfort.
