Overview

Head Lynx is a medium firm co-poly that delivers remarkable precision on full swings. As such this string is ideal for players with long, fast strokes. With its lively snapback, Lynx should help topspin players hit a heavy spin loaded ball that explodes off the court. Built with additives to increase elasticity and feel, Lynx also performs well on slower strokes where it possesses above average touch for a firm monofilament. Recommended to intermediate and advanced players. Try this thinner version for a livelier, more spin-friendly response.

  • Gauge: 17/1.25mm
  • Length: 660ft/200m
  • Composition: Co-polyester Monofilament
  • Colour: Anthracite, Yellow

Comments: Strung these at 54 lbs and had a similar result. For a few days had great control and I could swing freely. Seemed to lose tension quickly (I had the black) but I also noticed significant arm and shoulder pain after 2 weeks. Loved them for a few days but going back to my Ashway Monogut Pro 17g at 52 lbs. Almost as much control with no arm issues.

Comments: I tested this string and must say initial result is great stand out feature is the control. The string lets you swing free somehow, so it feels powerful since this free swinging ups your swing speed and therefore adds power. But it is the control really which creates this. So a great great string for different reasons.

Comments: I strung my Babolat Pure Aero with Head Lynx 17g string at 52 pounds. I love the power and spin levels. However, control is a little lower, especially with my two handed backhand. This may be due to the fact that I was using Solinco Tourbite before, which has much less power and more control. Next time around, I will string with 54 pounds, which should work fine.

Comments: Got these as a prize from a tournament and strung them in my Volkl Scorcher Tour at 52 lbs. They are amazing strings and did everything I wanted them to do! Great spin, good control with a medium firm feel. Lots of action on my serves! However, they lost their edge after about 3 days of hard play. I will keep looking for the best string for me.
