Introducing the heaviest, most stable member of the Percept family

Yonex updates one of its most stable player's rackets with better feel and new name. Called the  Percept 97H, this racket combines impressive mass with a flexible 21mm beam and a 625cm² head. In addition to giving advanced players outstanding control on full cuts, the Percept 97H packs a beefy 325+ swingweight, making it great for redirecting the pace of a big hitter or driving the ball through the court. It also feels very solid on volleys where you will find enough touch to drop the ball on a dime. Notable features include an elongated shaft to enhance pocketing, flexibility and control, along with a stiffer racket face for extra stability and power. This racket also features a Servo Filter which utilizes a thin elastic layer in the shaft to filter out harsh vibrations. Similar to its predecessor, this racket's graphite layup is enhanced by 2G-NAMD Flex Force, a material technology that enables the frame to flex optimally upon impact. Ultimately, this update is a must demo for experienced players looking to hit a heavy ball. The outstanding feel is a nice bonus.

Big YESGuys, if you know what you are doing and why you consider this racket… :) you’re a clean hitter and played with Head prestige 600s or Wilson Pros staff 85-90s, back in the days, this Heavy Percept is definitely a go to. The frame and the acceleration dynamics feels equal to prestiges but the stringbed responds like the old classic Pro Staffs. It’s the best of 2 worlds. You can be really smooth and relaxed on the ball, while still getting enough spin to land it nice and deep from the groundstrokes. The volleys and slices are dead solid. Kick/slice serves come easy and you don’t get pushed around on the aggressive kick returns. Lots of accuracy on the flat serves… So overall it’s a big pleasure to play with this one. Just make sure you don’t force the swing and stay smooth for optimal precision and classy BOOM on the contact Enjoy, brothers!
