The upper features a dual-layer construction that feels comfortable yet supportive, and is reinforced at the toe-tip and medial side for those who slide on hard courts. Underfoot, the Starting Bloc Plate adds lateral forefoot stability, as refined rocker geometry promotes smoother, faster transitions, keeping you on your toes and ready for the next ball. Babolat updates the EVA foam in the midsole, and when slipping this shoe on you can feel the plush yet responsive cushioning; a significant amount of padding underfoot for a speed shoe. Michelin rubber on the outsole supplies a high level of traction and solid durability on all court surfaces, although we find this version to perform best on hard courts.
