Overview

As the EZONE franchise enters its 6th generation, Yonex makes impressive changes to the EZONE 100 (300g) while keeping the speed and spin-friendly precision of the previous version. At 318 grams strung, this racket is weighted for the intermediate player, but it should also work for the more advanced player who wants a light player's frame. For 2020 Yonex has not only redesigned the beam for greater stability, it has also made the hitting area slightly wider for an even more responsive and luxurious feel. New technologies include a Liner Tech system, which reduces string friction for extra comfort and power. This technology also features denser string spacing in the center for control, with wider string spacing on the edges for less shock on off-center hits.  To improve frame stability and optimize the flex at impact, Yonex adds a uniquely strong and elastic graphite, called M40X, to the throat. This racket also features a Vibration Dampening Mesh in the handle for fewer harsh vibrations and a cleaner feel at impact. Like the previous generation, this version of the EZONE 100 is fast, spin-friendly, lively and precise. Boasting a higher RA-stiffness than the EZONE 98, this stick will give you a firmer, more powerful hitting experience, but it still offers decent comfort for a modern player's racket. At net the EZONE 100 won't give you the stability found with the heavier VCORE Pro models, but it packs enough speed and pop for the aggressive player. It also shines on service returns where it comes around fast to deliver easy targeting on full swings. With this impressive update to the EZONE 100 (300g), Yonex has again delivered a great option to intermediate and advanced players looking for a light and responsive player's racket.
