Overview

This special edition version of the Clash 100 celebrates the legendary red clay of Roland Garros!  Featuring identical specs and playability as the standard cosmetic, this uniquely flexible racket offers explosive speed, easy spin and great feel. At 295 grams (unstrung) and boasting a low 312-RDC swingweight, this stick is ideal for the intermediate player who wants ultra easy acceleration. What makes the Clash special is what lies under the hood. This racket has one of the lowest and most arm-friendly flex points on the market, giving it impressive levels of pocketing, control and touch. According to Wilson, the flexible feel is achieved with the help of two innovative material technologies, FreeFlex and StableSmart, both of which help deliver the benefits of flexibility without compromising the crisp and solid feel that marks the best modern player's rackets. From the baseline, the Clash 100 offers a seductive blend of comfort and speed. Although it lacks the power and plow-through of the heavier Tour model, this racket's easy acceleration will enable you to take very aggressive cuts at the ball when going for extra pace and spin. You'll also find it easy to scramble on defense or crank winners on the run. This racket's impressive speed continues at net where it plays great on reaction volleys. Although it lacks the stability and mass-based pop of a traditionally weighted player's racket, it rewards clean mechanics with good results, and there's more than enough feel for executing sharp angles or malicious droppers. Thanks to how easily this racket explodes through contact, aggressive servers should find enough power and spin to impose their will. All in all, Wilson has created an impressive weapon for the intermediate player who wants a light player's racket with an explosive delivery and outstanding feel.
