Overview
Introducing the V-Sense 10 295g, a solid update to the Super G version. Like its predecessor, this update delivers an impressive combination of control, spin and feel in a very maneuverable package. Boasting a low swingweight (311 RDC), this racquet moves with explosive speed, making it ideal for intermediates who want a light control racquet. As with other members of the V-Sense line, this stick gets Volkl’s new Precise Power Beam (giving it a less rounded beam and more classic Volkl feel). The layup has been updated with C3 Material, a uniquely strong tri-carbon matrix that enables Volkl to better calibrate the flex across different regions of the frame. Additional updates include a widened beam at 3 & 9 o'clock, along with a slight increase in overall stiffness (for a more responsive and even feeling stringbed). From the baseline this racquet's combination of maneuverability and controllable power should lead to confident targeting. The easy acceleration and grippy 16x19 stringbed will satisfy those looking to ratchet up the spin. The comfortably crisp feel comes with a nice level of vibration dampening thanks to the VSENSOR Handle Technology (which benefits from a new, more elastic polymer). At net this stick’s raw speed makes it perfect for those who want to improve their reaction time. The speedy feel is also a big asset on service returns where this stick comes around fast to deliver a very accurate ball. Ultimately, Volkl has produced a nice update for those who want controllable power, great feel and easy access to spin in a light package.
