Overview

For 2020, Head makes big changes to the Prestige S while keeping the seductive blend of speed, precision and feel. At 295 grams unstrung, the Prestige S is the lightest member of the Prestige family, making it great for the intermediate player who wants outstanding control and easy acceleration. For this generation Head overhauls the frame, adding a thinner beam for more feel along with a larger head (from 615cm²  to 640cm²) for a more forgiving response. Built with Graphene 360+, the Prestige S combines the stability and power of Graphene 360 with SpiralFibers in the lower head for a cleaner feel at impact. From the baseline this racket feels fast, plush and precise, with above average stability for the weight. The larger head manages to offer extra comfort and power without over-compromising the precision that has come to define the breed. Full swings are rewarded with surgical placement, aided in no small part by the spin-friendly 16x19 string pattern. The light weight shines at net where the Prestige S moves into position quickly to offer impressive stability for a light racket. Touch is also outstanding. Finally, aggressive servers will find enough precision to swing for power. By improving the feel and offering a more forgiving surface area, Head has given intermediate players a user-friendly entry point into the unmistakable precision of the iconic Prestige franchise.
