Overview

With the O3 Tattoo 100 (290), Prince delivers easy targeting and "best of class" comfort to the Tour franchise. Like the standard (solid beam) version, this racket's 290 gram weight makes it ideal for intermediate level players. It should also work for the more experienced player who wants a light option with easy acceleration. Compared to the standard Tour 100 (290), this racket has a slightly thinner beam along with an extra cross string, but the defining feature is O3 Technology, which enables the strings to soak up more vibration at impact, resulting in a uniquely muted and comfortable response. This racket also benefits from Textreme X, which adds Twaron to the original Textreme formula in order to further enhance dampening and optimize the response. On groundstrokes the O3 Tattoo 100 (290) feels softer and more muted than rackets from competing brands. It is fast enough for whipping up power and spin, but it also has enough mass in the head to feel solid when your opponent's pace goes up. The open 16x19 string pattern supplies enough bite to bring the ball down sharply. At net and on service returns, the O3 Tour 100 (290) not only moves into position with decent speed, but it has enough stability for blocking the ball back effectively. Finally, aggressive servers will find enough control and spin to swing for power. All in all, the O3 Tour 100 (290) is great option for the intermediate player who wants a soft and forgiving racket with impressive spin and controllable power.
