Overview
Introducing the VCORE Galaxy Black 100 (300g)! Endorsed by Angelique Kerber, this racket has the same specs and playability as the flame red version. It has been meticulously engineered for the speed and spin of the modern game. At 318 grams strung, this racket is weighted for intermediate players, but it should also work for the advanced player who wants a light player's racket with ample room for weight customization. With this racket, Yonex reduces wind drag by expanding the location of the Aero Fin grooves to include the lower portion of the head. This technology is complemented by an Aero Trench grommet system that submerges the grommets to further reduce wind resistance. The upshot of these technologies is easier acceleration, which will help you load the ball with pace and spin. The VCORE Galaxy Black 100 (300g) also has a material called Namd, which is a unique graphite designed to increase frame torque, ball pocketing and spin. From the baseline, the VCORE Galaxy Black 100 (300g) not only moves fast for its weight, but spin comes very easy. Although it doesn't feel quite as solid as the VCORE 98 (305), the combination of speed, spin and accuracy make this a formidable weapon on groundies. At net, this racket comes around fast, making it great on reaction volleys or springing into action when opportunity knocks. It will also give you the needed spin and pop on serve to force some weak replies. Ultimately, the VCORE Galaxy Black 100 (300g) is a great choice for those who want a fast and spin-friendly racket with easy targeting on full swings.
