Overview

Light, fast and very user-friendly, Dunlop's Srixon Revo CV 5.0 OS is the perfect racket for those who want a little extra power and comfort without having to sacrifice too much control. At just over 10 ounces strung, the CV 5.0 OS is weighted for strong beginners, rising juniors or adult intermediates in search of maneuverability. Boasting the largest head size in the CV line (105in²), this racket is more forgiving on off-center hits, but it still manages to feel crisp and precise. It also comes with a slightly extended length (27.25"), which will enable you to attack the ball with more momentum (think extra power and spin). The signature technology is called Sonic Core VG, which adds a special rubber material to the standard urethane and silicon formula for enhanced dampening. The CV 5.0 OS also comes with a material technology called Synchro Charge, which uses a flexible graphite in the racket's upper hoop to boost stability and counteract the 'boardy' feel on balls struck outside the sweetspot. From the baseline, the CV 5.0 OS rewards medium length strokes with easy depth. Although this stick has plenty of power, the open 16x19 string pattern provides the needed bite for bringing the ball down sharply with spin. At net, the CV 5.0 OS not only moves into position with remarkable ease, but it also provides a generous and stable hitting surface, making for easy block volleys. On service returns this racket comes around very fast, and it feels surprisingly solid when redirecting the pace of a first serve. Finally, the extended length provides easier net clearance along with a nice bump in power on serves. All in all, the Srixon Revo CV 5.0 OS is ideal for the player who wants a little extra power and comfort without sacrificing the precision and spin required to attack the ball.
