Overview
For 2018, Dunlop updates the R3.0 Revolution NT with a new construction and better feel. At 308 grams unstrung, this racket is weighted for intermediate and advanced players. The 632cm² head provides very good control, and the extended 69.2cm length will allow you to attack the ball with extra momentum. The result is a racket that hits with an impressive combination of power and precision . This update is constructed with Dunlop's NT Weave , which uses copper fiber in layup to improve dampening and feel. Dunlop also uses Copper Wire Construction in the handle to further enhance dampening and improve the feedback that reaches your hand.Unlike conventional racquets, the R3.0 Revolution NT is constructed with Dunlop's All In One Construction , which means it is made of a single piece of graphite. The result, according to Dunlop, is enhanced ball feedback and increased stability. From the baseline, the R3.0 Revolution NT feels very solid when redirecting the pace of a heavy hitting opponent. The 64 RA gives it a subtle flex at impact, making it more arm-friendly than many of its competitors. Aggressive players with long, fast strokes will have the mass to drive the ball through the court, and there is more than enough spin-potential for bringing the ball down to target. At the net, block volleys feel stable and powerful, which means that experienced players should have no problem keeping the ball deep. Finally, the extended length will give aggressive servers the ability to generate loads of power and spin. With some impressive updates to the construction, the 2018 R3.0 Revolution NT is a great option for the player who wants a powerful and spin-friendly player's racket with great feel.
