Not for everyone, but definitely special! This racket is not easy to use for most players. The swingweight is very high and it has a slightly extended length, but if you have the right technique and are willing to make some simple modifications to the racket I believe it can be a devastating tool on the tennis court! Remember that this racket was designed for Kei Nishikori and he has a laser 2 handed backhand and is extremely strong and fast. I highly recommend switching out the Wilson grip for a heavy leather grip (Fairway, Tourna or TW leather grips are heavier and feel solid in hand). This helps to make the balance more manageable to swing the racket in spite of adding more weight. What you get in return is probably the most stable racket on the market that turns a defensive shot into offense quite easily. You can shorten your swing and hit winners from the forehand and backhand side with little effort. I was simply amazed! You can also serve rockets with this racket. Backhand slices are dreamy... Comfort is surprisingly good! This racket is medium stiff, but is very well dampened and feels extremely solid and stable on contact! Once again, you really have to customize the weight/balance of this racket to get the most out of it. Using it in stock form will probably mean needing to go to the gym and getting some Popeye forearms because you will need to be very strong to hit with this otherwise! All in all a rare gem of a racket for a special type of player. Just thankful that TW has made this available for us mere mortals!
