Tecnifibre celebrates two of the game's best players with this US Open inspired cosmetic- Tennis Warehouse Exclusive!

Introducing the TFIGHT 305S ID! Featuring the same specs and performance as the standard version, this alternate cosmetic celebrates the US Open and two of the game's greatest players, Iga Swiatek and Daniil Medvedev. According to Tecnifibre, "the cosmetic draws from the courts of the US Open and the distinct hue of the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of New York City and the historic link between France and the US." Under the paint you'll find a control-oriented 632cm² head combined with the surgical accuracy of an 18 main string pattern. It also moves fast, offering user-friendly acceleration from the baseline and quick handling at net. In addition to its unique RS section beam (which combines square and elliptical shapes), this stick is packed with foam, giving it a wonderfully solid and plush feel at impact. Other technologies include Tecnifibre's ISOFLEX System, which creates a more uniform feel across the string bed, reducing shock and power loss on off-center hits. Ultimately, this racket's combination of speed and controllable power makes it hard to put down, and the blue color scheme is definitely a winner.

As good as the reviews sayI bought this racquet a few months back and initially had it strung with hyper g soft. With this string set up, I found it jarring and uncomfortable, and the sweet spot unforgiving. I then re-strung it with luxilon gut combined with Yonex poly tour pro at 22kg and 20kg respectively and the racquet was transformed! What is so special about the tfight is that it combines great manoeuvrability with impressive stability, so you can swing with abandon and still feel completely in control of your shots. Moreover, you feel exactly where the ball is hitting the stringbed, which provides more predictability and control. The 18x19 string pattern is also a revelation- it delivers terrific directional control and a decent amount of spin. And the weight balance of the racquet does a good job of encouraging you to hit through the ball (I tried adding weight at 3 and 9 o’clock for even more plow through but it had too much of a negative impact on manoeuvrability and lowered the launch angle too much). Finally, the sweet spot is quite generous for a racquet in this class and you can still hit a workable shot even when hitting off-center. I’m coming from a Clash Pro and I didn’t find the tfight that much more demanding. The Clash generates more spin and has easier power, but the max speed on my shots is higher with the tfight. I personally experienced all these positive attributes with a soft and low tension string set up - I think it’s needed if you want to unlock the racquet’s potential and avoid hurting your arm. Be aware, also, that the grip shape is rectangular, which may not be to everyone’s liking though I actually prefer it as it helps me find the right grip more easily, especially on my one-handed backhand.
