Comments: Poor string for stringers. Coating tears easily and internal fibers exposed. Easy to snap when tightening. I have strung approximately 6 racquets with this, used 8 packs of strings. Never had this issue before. However, once in, fairly good comments from players. A bit softer for arm issues, good bite on ball. Sometimes a bit too much spring.

Comments: After using it for two months on my Yonex Ezone DR 98, I have to say that stringing this string at 52 lbs on the mains and 50 lbs on the crosses, allows my DR 98 to perform at its best.

Comments: I will echo Wayne's comments. For me it is best of two worlds: poly-like characteristics and relatively easier on arm (Though not the most arm friendly multi out there). Initially tried on my spare Prince Textreme 100P as a stop-gap measure. When very satisfied with the performance I strung my main, Yonex Ezone DR 98 with it (Previously using Gosen AK Control 17). Its performance is slightly better with Prince but that is acceptable: DR 98 is more string sensitive and further fine tuning is needed. I strongly recommend it.

Comments: Middle- of-the-road comfort for a multi but man, the coating works like magic in preventing notching so that the strings actually provide spin, almost like a poly. Tension retention seems pretty good after three intense hours of open doubles and zero notching! Why didn't I listen to my stringer and try this earlier. Strung at 50/48 lbs in a RF97A. Feels like it will last a lot longer than Gosen or M7 multis.

Comments: I haven't found this to be a low powered string at all; quite the opposite. I have it strung at 60 lbs in the new Head Graphene XT Radical MPA and its the first string I have found that gives me decent power. The touch and feel are very good which really allows me to swing away. Strings do slide around a bit but I think that is because I find myself hitting with more topspin with this string because it feels so comfortable. My only concern is durability. It's been in about two weeks of solid playing so far and is holding up. I'm a 4.5 player playing USTA tournaments and leagues who has been told I hit harder than the majority of other players I play so we will see.

Comments: This string is basically a low powered, dead multi. Not for arm comfort seekers! If a multi like NXT or NRG has a 9/10 power and RPM Blast has a 4/10 power, then Velocity MLT has a 6/10 power. There's a slick coating that allows the string to snapback similar to a poly, but the only catch is that the coating wears off over time. To summarize: low powered, dead feeling, medium-high spin, high control, average comfort. For about $10 you get a multi/poly mixed baby without the innate stiffness of a poly.

Comments: Wow -- a great multi with low to medium power. Not like a typical multi but very easy on the elbow. I have suffered with TE and this has been very easy no issues at all. The spin is good and you can't beat the price. If you are looking for a great control multi that is very easy on the elbow then I would give this a try just string a few pounds higher than normal.

Comments: I've strung this in a Volkl SG V1Pro at 56/55 lbs. It dropped tension about 3 lbs over the first couple days and then after about 4 hours of play, the tension stayed steady for the next 10 hours. Lowered powered multi with good access to spin, so it is good for control and you can swing out a bit. I cut out the strings after 15 hours with light-moderate notching. But re-stringing fresh, I noticed that the performance really didn't drop off and probably could have continued to play until the strings broke. I have my PS97LS strung at 58 lbs. Maybe I didn't need to go this high. But I was initially afraid I would get too much power. But I don't think I needed to worry. I may start to experiment with stringing lower tensions than S-gut as it appears this yields lower power than OGSM. This is a great string if you aren't able to play with poly strings because of elbow issues. If you aren't a string breaker, then it should last longer than poly would (before going dead). Great performance value at $10/set. Even better if you buy 4 or more! If you are looking for more power or ultimate comfort, there are better choices. But for a good blend of control, comfort, spin and durability, cost, this is it for me.

Comments: I struggled for months to find a good a forgiving yet controllable string for my RF 97 Autograph. Tried several strings and hybrid combinations, but a full bed of Velocity 17 at 57 lbs gave me the control and feel I was looking for. Love that it snaps back like a poly!

Comments: I usually play with Wilson NXT Comfort 17g string. Was recently out of town, broke a string and asked the pro shop to give me something similar. He gave me Head Velocity MLT 17 gage. Huge mistake. After playing with this string for a couple days, my arm is really sore. Going back to Wilson NXT.

Works great for me (recreational player), but last only 4-5 hours play for my 16 year old daughter playing at elite level (DK). But she likes the feel she gets when using this string.
