As such, it feels a tad softer and more powerful than a traditional polyester, but it still offers impressive control on full cuts. In addition to being a great "starter poly" for those new to the breed, Hawk Power will also tempt the poly veteran looking for a softer ride. Spin also comes easy thanks to how fast this string lets you swing. Although Hawk Power definitely loses its fair share of tension over time, the playability holds up well compared to other soft polys.
