The Grapplesnake Irukandji 2.0 is a unique hybrid-shaped polyester string built to offer a mix of spin, snap-back, and comfort. With its rectangular but rounded profile and co-polyester material reinforced with aluminum fibers, it bridges the gap between rigid polys and softer multi-filaments.

When used as a cross string (especially in a hybrid setup with Natural Gut or other soft mains), Irukandji 2.0 lets the mains and crosses slide and snap back cleanly, minimizing notching and boosting spin potential. Its wider contact surface and rounded edges also help protect more delicate strings in the mains. 

At 0.90 × 1.45 mm, it's thin in one dimension with a flatter width in the other—this shape enhances surface grip and snap-back without being overly harsh. The feel is softer than many pure polys, especially in hybrids, giving a more forgiving play while still maintaining control. Shape: rectangular / rounded
