Solinco macht gute Tennissaiten, das ist kein Geheimnis. Als Fan der Hyper-G und Tour Bite Soft (allesamt 1.20mm) entschied ich mich für einen Testkauf. Ich orderte zwei Sets und teste sie gleichzeitig in einem Wilson Blade 98 V7 16x19 u. Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 3rd Gen. Die Saite war am Anfang in beiden Rackets (22/21 Kg) etwas starr und steif. Nach einer Std. legte sie das und ihr Potenzial kam voll zum Vorschein. Obwohl, die beiden zuvor erwähnten beiden Brüder mit 1.20mm den Eindruck erwecken eigentlich eine 1.25mm zu sein, scheint es bei dieser Saite anders zu sein - der Eindruck könnte aber auch durch das Dunkelgrau erzeugt worden sein. Ich werde noch die 1.25mm testen, aber ohne Zweifel wird diese Version ebenfalls sehr gut abschneiden. Habe den Eindruck die Confidential absorbiert die Vibrationen sehr gut und ich habe beide Rackets ohne Dampener gespielt. Kontrolle, Touch und Spin sind formidabel. Finde die Solinco Saiten mit der Luxilon ebenbürtig und preislich ohnehin günstiger. Sie passt sehr gut in härter Rahmen wie zB. Babolat. da sie die Schläge absorbiert aber nicht derart dämpft, dass man kein Feeling hat - im Gegenteil.

Comments: Very good hitting string. Hyper-G is very soft, but provides a bit of power. This string doesn't quite have the same level of power but has the same amount of bite and is a bit crisper off the stringbed. Tour Bite is my favorite of the line, but it's hard on the arm and elbow. This feels really connected to the ball and is a good middle ground between Hyper-G and Tour Bite.

Comments: I used 16 gauge Hyper-G for about a year and half and decided to buy a set of this just for the heck of it. This string is now my daily driver and I have even bought a reel. It has the same feel but with more bite, which I love. I would 10 out of 10 recommend.

Comments: The best Solinco string that is by far softer than Tour Bite and better than Hyper-G in my opinion. I put Solinco Confidential as my third best favorite, right behind Tour Bite which is my second favorite string. Overall I have tried both the 16L gauge and now the 17 gauge both in a hybrid set up. I would recommend this string to any intermediate to advance level NTRP player out there to actually give it a try.
