Comments: On a bit of a Technifibre full poly safari at the moment, and noticed they seem to retain their optimum playability a bit longer than other top class co-poly strings such as Hyper G and Cyclone. The Black Code still plays and feels great after 20 hours use. Strung in the Babolat Pure Strike 100 at 55 lbs.

Comments: This string was fantastic for my racquet, the Head Youtek Speed Rev. I string it at 52 lbs. Great power and spin and no loss of tension after 1 month (I play 4 times a week). For a long time before playing with pentagonal strings, I used ALU Power Rough but this pentagonal string is much better for spin and control of the ball.

Comments: I have used this string for the past 4 months (with occasional stringing), and it has done quite well. The string starts off very stiff and does hurt a bit, but once you break into it, it turns into a spin monster. Aside from the spin, I was rather disappointed with the power and feel. The string felt very lively, but got to a point where it hurt. The power was one of the worse ones out of the polys, it was geared more for big hitters. A minor con about this string is the inconsistency. As I hit with it, i noticed that it had almost no forgiveness, and had very different results when hitting different spots. This string is comparable to babolat hurricane pro tour, and I would reccomend this string to any big hitters who can generate their own power and control.

Comments: Surprised that some people still find this to be stiff as I have personally tried this in a hybrid and a full set and it is one of the softest setups around, almost too soft. Threw on a dampener so it sounds better and fell in love. Tested in a hybrid with my Wilson Juice and then a full bed on Head Extreme. Liked the full set more, so I currently have my Juice getting restrung in with a full bed of it.

Comments: I have hit with the Babolat RPM Blast and the Luxilon ALU Power, but the Black Code is better than both. I string my racquet at 58 lbs, so the string is stiff but provides great access to power and loads of spin. The RPM Blast would lose tension after about 5-7 hours of hitting, but with the Black Code I didn't start to feel a loss in tension until around 11 hours ofplay. Overall, the string is great for an all-court game and I would definitely recommend it.

Comments: Definitely one of the most stiff poly strings out there. It has a medium soft, plastic feel. Immediately I felt pain in my elbow and shoulder. Luxilon Big Banger ALU has a softer feel than this. I was hoping this string would be good, however, it's not very pliable. It's just too stiff.

Comments: It's polyester, it will have somewhat bigger initial tension loss without a doubt. It has above-average spin potential, average durability for polyester, and it's a comfortable soft poly string. It doesn't have as much spin as the Spiky Shark, Solinco, or Pro Tornado, but what makes it shine is its feel. One of the "best feel" polyesters I have ever used. It does play different (more balanced) after the initial tension loss, but not anything like deaden, and it plays almost the same through its life after its initial tension loss. I string my Wilson K Factor Six-one 16x18 at 59 lbs.

Comments: I love this string. Like others have said: lots of spin, lots of power and lots of control. However for me, not a lot of durability. The feel and response noticeably diminish after 3-4 hours and eventually deaden right before they break. I used it for six months and broke a string every 3-4 weeks. If you like fresh strings regularly (some people do) this is for you.

Comments: This string is unbelievable! I was skeptical at first because polyester often hurts my elbow, but this string is softer and if strung in the low 50s, it is quite comfortable. This string has so much bite, and I get a lot more spin on my kick serve. It is also priced much better than Babolat RPM Blast or Luxilon Big Banger Rough. Give this a try!

Comments: This is the first full-poly setup I've ever used (54 lbs on Aero Storm Cortex). After the initially couple hours of hitting, these strings felt very good for backhand slice, volleys, serving, and topspin forehands. I like this string a lot. I'm excited to test it as a hybrid with other polys.

Comments: Dang...that's all I can say. I use a Wilson Kobra K factor, which is like a copy of the APD but I like it better. When I strung it with this string, the racket just felt like the ball was attached to the strings. When I was trying a kick serve, I felt so much control on my contact point and my release point. Seriously it feels like you can control the release like throwing a baseball. Before my kick serves usually ended up having too much spin or being to flat. But with this string I can control everything. Okay as you might have imagined the racket is full of spin. Yes full of. You can slice well, put a lot of topspin, and I believe it is pretty much arm friendly. The only downside is that it's kind of hard to get used to it when your trying to hit deep groundstrokes. They are hard to get them deep enough. But otherwise very nice strings with good dura, and comfort

Comments: This very string arms both my BABOLAT PURE DRIVE GT and AEROPRO DRIVE GT. This I have to admit, totally RIPS the BALL with so much SPIN along with a 24kg tension.[hehe "Nadals"] provides the perfect balance of power and spin. Its funny because I've been using these strings way before the RPM Blast was conceived and never will I ever part with this string. I've always used Tecnifibre Strings and with the BLACK CODE 16's. It just gets better and better. Deadly too.

Comments: This string was simply a bad combination for my racquet and age. I am 46 years old and play with a Head Youtek Six Star -- a stiff, lightweight, head-heavy racket. I broke the TGV 17 strings with which I originally strung the racquet within two weeks, so I wanted something more durable. I tried the Black Code 16. The strings played nicely, but gave me terrible tennis elbow pain after my first hitting session -- which got progressively worse after two more sessions. So combined with my age and racquet, this was not the string for me.

Comments: Brilliant Strings, a good alternative to Luxilon alu power big banger rough, compared to luxi this string is definitely softer and has excellent feel although I had no problems with luxilon with my arm (since I have what you say textbook strokes). I use it on my K-six one tour 90 tensioned at 50 lbs. I may increase my tension more because I was used to low tension using luxi since it required you to do so and I'm a sort of a power player. Overall decent strings if you're looking for an alternative for luxi these are your best bet.

Comments: This is a phenomenal string overall feels great great spin. I am a player who swings very fast and honestly cannot notice a difference in the tension after the first few hours. I play everyday for about five hours and this string does the job. The only thing is it is not as durable as other poly's or co-poly's for that matter as it is one itself. It will last for a week and a half and have to restring it, but I don't think it is that expensive compared to some other high quality strings. Great string.

Comments: Good strings, but the major problem is, it hurts your arm. I know 3 people who play this string: Two 4.0s and a 5.0. Their arms all started to hurt and quit using the strings; even after a day of using it it took them a few days(3-5)to recover fully. But if you are good player, I do recommend getting them. I do know two juniors that are around 15th in the nation, and they love the strings. So, if you're insanely good, get them, but if you're not, consider another string.

Comments: These strings are very enjoyable especially if you generate a lot of racquet head speed for spin and pace. Comfort is the main surprise here, I'm used to using a full bed of 16 gauge PHT, and BBR strung at 60 lbs and I like those strings a lot, but black code really seems to give comparable performance with a crisp feel with very little shock. The strings don't move much when strung at this initial tension as well and although I can tell they have lost quite a bit of tension after several hard hitting sessions, they remain very playable for me for weeks. The coolest thing about these strings are that they leave a wicked imprint on tennis balls.

Comments: These are great feeling strings out of the gate. Softest poly out there with great spin potential. The problem is poor durability. I have used 2 sets so far with TNT in the crosses. They simply die and it happens quickly. I've had to change racquets twice now during a match. Never happened before. Be prepared to cut them out after 8-10 hours of hard play. I can't afford to string so often.

Comments: I rarely write reviews or comment on anything but I have been extremely satisfied by these strings. I have a Babolat aero pro and these strings work like none other I've tried. They offer great tension, great topspin, exceptional control (balls hitting the line a lot) and they are durable and doesn't lose its tension. I play about 4 times a week and have not seen a difference and I've been using them for about 2 months. The only minor problem I had was in the beginning they didn't work good but within a day or 2 that changed and now they work perfect.

Comments: Great strings out of the blocks, but lost tension quickly (had it strung on a Head FXP Prestige XL) and hit with a partner for an hour and a half. For the first hour- great bite, was pushing him back on the baseline on every shot. After that, my shots were sitting around mid-court (and no, I wasn't getting tired). Will have to try the NRG2s to see how they compare.

Comments: Excellent string, great control, adds some spin and feels very comfortable. Wonderful for approaching shots, since I use it (1 month) I rarely have missed an approach. Rock-solid in defense, but soft, it's difficult to describe it if you don't try it. Before I used Head Rip control and recently moved to Luxilon Alu, but this one drastically improved my game. Have it strung at 65lbs on my Aero Storm Tour. A little more spin than other strings I've tried. When fresh, has a loud pop sound on serves...like a 12 gauge.

Comments: I play exclusively with Luxilon original and ALU, full poly setup. Gave this string a try since it was new. Feels slightly softer than either luxilon string. Not as powerful as alu but seems to maintain tension better than alu. spin is pretty good but not as good as lux original. Just good all around, but nothing great. Its a "comfortable" poly string, easy on the arms.

Comments: I'm not sure why there is such a drastic deviation in reviews. I've played 6 sets in singles and 3 sets in doubles with this string as a cross and it's still performing great. I think it holds tension very well. However, it did take about an hour and a half before still started getting softer and breaking in. Initially, it was extremely stiff. I had my doubts, but now using it as a cross with gut mains. Probably one of the best setups I've ever used! Great spin, power, control, feel and tension maintenance. I didn't really like it in a full bed. It was stiff, hurt my arm, and made pinging noises.

Comments: Sorry have to disagree with the 2nd comment. This string bleeds tension very quickly 3 sets and it was done. MSV Hex is a better string if you want the shaped strings. Although, I will say it's a better playing string than most shaped polys (cough cough Blue Gear), I will need to test further to back these claims fully however, so jury is still out. I strung Black Code in the mains and Topspin Cyber Blue in the crosses (Cyber Blue is my fav string at the moment, although I would like to change to a multi or premium syngut (then I will have even more tension problems).

Comments: I did a play test on this string for another source and have been using it for about 6-8 weeks so far. I have to disagree with the post that said it had considerable tension loss and went dead after an hour. This string maintains tension better than just about any poly out there. It does take a bit of adjustment to get used to the way it plays at first, but once you get used to it you will be pleasantly be surprised. Nice control, power available when needed, soft feel, good spin. All around it is one of the best strings I have played to date. Some will compare it to MSV Hex, but I have to say that having played them side by side the Tecnifibre string is a better overall string and holds tension better.
