Comments: I have tried this string a couple of times now. I have three Head Graphene XT Radical Pros. I normally keep two strung up with Volkl Cyclone 17 Black. That is still my go to string. I sometimes try different strings in my third racket. I tried the Cyclone Orange and Yellow. I would say this plays similar to the Cyclone Yellow. Hyper-G has a bit more notable pop than the Cyclone, but I feel it comes as the cost of feel compared to Cyclone (at least the black). While both produce good spin, I feel like Cyclone gives me a little better bite when needed. As for ground strokes, they are pretty much the same, maybe some extra free depth with Hyper-G. Both produce easy spin. As for volleys and serves, I definitely prefer the Cyclone there, the feel and control is better. One advantage Hyper-G seems to have is playability, it stays playable later in it's life than does Cyclone. While at this point I play all my matches with Cyclone, I do keep coming back to this one and can't rule it out yet. In general, while I still give the nod to Cyclone, you can't go wrong with this string either. Definitely worth a try. I string at 54 lbs.

Comments: This is my new favorite string. Amazing combo of feel, spin, control and power. Excellent ball pocketing and very comfortable string, looks great too! I strung it up at 44 pounds on my customized Pro Staff 97 352 grams strung and 10 pts head light and played with it for about 6 hours so far with very little noticeable tension loss. I string it myself using single string box pattern to minimize tension loss. I used to use Volkl Cyclone 17 also with low tension but from the first hit, I feel this is clearly a superior string. It feels crisper yet very comfortable, where the Cyclone feels a bit mushy by comparison. I am able to take big fast swings and hit as hard as I like without any loss of control. In fact this string encourages you to really go after your shot and is equally good on topspin, flat and slice shots. Some added pop and weight on serves. The feel and control also gave me confidence to stand in and attack both first and 2nd serve returns with deep slice or heavy topspin. I love this string!

Comments: Coming from Volkl Cyclone 17, I was very pleased. Hyper-G had better feel, better responsiveness, more spin, and more power. I am finding the Hyper-G to last slightly shorter than Cyclone, but with the upgrades in every other category I can't look past it. New string of choice! I'm 23 years old, 6'5" male and a 4.0 player.

Comments: I really like this string, much more than other Solinco products I've tried before. It has enough oomph and forgiveness to work for me, even in an 18x20 frame. It doesn't last as well as ALU Power does, I'd say Power gives me around 20% more useful life, but when you factor in the cost of both, it's pretty much a similar value. I know the color is a deal breaker for some, but it reminds me of the late 1980s, when neon strings were pretty popular. I've never had an opportunity to try Revolution. Perhaps those two Solinco offerings share some similarities.

Comments: This was a wonderful string during the time I played with it. First week playing with it was really nice, I had enough power and surprising amounts of spin. My balls were landing deeper than my usual string setup which is Volkl Cyclone 16g yellow. Although I think I played with it a little bit too late since it lost it's playability in the second week. It has been sitting in my bag for at least two weeks before I started playing with it so I'm pretty sure that cut the playability of the string. Overall, I really like this string and I would get this string again. Played with customized Babolat Pure Strike 18x20 (2014) around 52 lbs. I'm a strong 3.5-4.0 player that plays at least 12 hours a week.

Comments: At first I was underwhelmed with this string. But after more extensive hitting with it, I'm converted. I find myself keep coming back to the racquet strung with this string for one reason: consistency. Despite the low tension I string at, the ball comes off the strings in a consistent, repeatable manner, shot after shot, more so than my Cyberflash 17. I'm honestly impressed. The same can't be said for other softer polys like Technifibre Cobra, which I'm also testing. Also, I'm no longer having wrist issue with this string, interestingly. The only thing preventing me from switching to this string is I want to test Tour Bite and Tour Bite Soft before making my decision, but this string is definitely impressive so far.

Comments: I really love this string. I have it paired with the RF 97 at 53 pounds and it's been perfect. Comfortable, precise, rewards full swings. Can't emphasize this enough. The string is a control-oriented string, which means it puts out what you give. If I had to summarize the jump from 4.0 to 4.5/5.0, for me it's about believing in yourself enough to crank through a shot every time and finish with your racquet and arm across your face (kissing your biceps so to speak every time). This string rewards you with pinpoint shots, great spin, without harsh feedback. What else do you really want? In the last two years I've gone from Luxilon 4G (great string but too harsh for me), Luxilon Big Banger Rough, RPM Blast hybrid, RPM Blast full bed, and now this. I get a higher launch point with Hyper G than RPM, the higher, deeper spin gives my opponents trouble. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Comments: I'm a 4.5 lefty all-court player. I've been a Volkl Cyclone user for the last few years. For the past few weeks I've put Solinco Hyper-G 17 in my Yonex EZONE DR 98 and strung it at 48 lbs (Andy's specs from TW). Holy smokes. It's firm yet arm-friendly, minimal loss of tension and string movement, pockets the ball very well, and gives me unbelievable control. I have to keep myself from swinging as hard as I can every swing just because the ball goes right where I want it to and dips so well down into the court. It's flat-out addicting. For being a lower-powered string, it's 'just' lively enough to keep me from trying out any other offerings from Solinco (Tour Bite, etc). This string is perfect for the 3.5-and-up player who likes to take a good cut at the ball. I'm pretty sure I've found my string of choice for the next couple years at least. Someone at TW tell Andy thanks for me!

Comments: This string is awesome. I play with a Wilson Blade 16x19 and these strings perform unbelievably well in it. I am a die hard Luxilon guy with 4g and Element but I have always wished they made those strings in some form of gear shaped. Hyper G has great pop,control and spin. Right now I have 16g in my racquet because my stringer ran out of 17g. 17g pockets way more and grips the heck out of the ball. I wish they made this sting in black or the grey they have. The color is a little annoying.

Comments: Tried this string after one of my USTA teammates (5.0) started using it on a regular basis. I was using Black Widow and ALU Rough and now have to say I have already switched over. The string feels so good and comfortable, balls coming off the bed feel so powerful yet so under control. I felt they would go long and hit inside the baseline. Serves so easy to control. Now keeping this in the bag with the RS Lyon. My two favorite strings! Try it. I have it on my Pure Aero (weighted).

Comments: Solinco killed my elbow. If you want to use a Babolat racquet, do not use this string. I was getting nice results with it, but after 5 weeks it killed my elbow. I did stretching after every session, applied ice, but it didn't help. I played 10 hours a week and used this reel of green Solinco in 4-5 weeks. Won't use Solinco again. God bless AluPower.

Comments: I like this string as much as I like Solinco Revolution. It has a very similar feel, strung at 50 lbs in my Babolat Pure Aero. Great spin, control, and power with full swings. I will continue using these two strings from Solinco as I have for the past two years.

Comments: Tried this string on my customized Babolat Pure Drive at 54lbs. Switching from the Tour Bite, the spin is good, but significantlynot as good as the Tour Bite. (Actually before I purchase it I found thespin potential is higher than the tour bite, However, on my hand it isnot). But, it does provide a little bit more feel and pop. I would say it'sslightly more powerful than the tour bite. Control is about the samelevel. Overall, I'm not going to switch from my Tour Bite. Fun colorwaythough.

Comments: Strung at 57 lbs on a Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200G and I really liked it. I usually use Solinco Revolution but this seemed to have a bit more control and spin with minimal powerloss unlike barbwire. It seemed easier to string than other poly's (still not like nylon) and the green color really stands out on a blue stick. After about 10 hours of play time over 3 weeks it seems to have fallen off a bit, shots that used to come down on the baseline are now sailing out and the serve isn't as crisp. The string is a bargain for what you get but this relatively short lifespan might force me to stay with the Revolution that seems to have nearly double the life for me. Will try the 16 string before making final conclusion. Great string and the TW reviews are spot on.

Comments: I don't understand why it's being marketed as a "maximum power/spin" (as it says on the packaging) string. It's just not a "high power" string. That being said, I never even knew what it was when I got it. My friend broke my go to string while stringing (Volkl Cyclone) and ended up giving me a set of these for free. That all being said, I really like it. It's just not a typical high power string but it does provide a lot of spin. In regards to the power, it is a pretty stiff string, I think, so maybe you get some power in the sense it will power through the ball? I'm not sure. Maybe it's just a trendy word but the tennis warehouse reviews seem very accurate to my experience. Lots of spin, control, feel, durability yet to be really tested but looks great so far on a few hits in. I'm a 4.5 player, stringing these at 39/36 lbs on a Prince Textreme 95 Tour. My go to string is Volkl Cyclone but I'm currently comparing these two as they are very similar and possibly superior. Time will tell.

Comments: Wasn't a big fan. Strung it at 55 lbs on my Babolat AeroPro Drive. I did really like the spin potential from them. A majority of my shots were staying in. The downside was the power potential. I like hitting a lot of topspin but being able to generate power as well and this string did not give that option. If your a hitter who doesn't use power at all I'd suggest this but its not for those who hit harder.

Comments: I like it! Strung at 55 lbs in a Head Instinct racquet. Strung up ok with a crank stringer. Played very well, ripped off some nice backhand drives, serves, volleys and everything had a very good feel. Played with the new Penn ATP tennis balls, love those too. Going out now to play a second hour with it. I agree with the TW reviewers completely. Total bang for the buck.
