Yonex updates the lighter, faster 280 gram version of the VCORE 100 but keeps the same user-friendly playability that made this such a perfect option for improving beginners, competitive juniors and intermediates. Like its predecessor, this sub 300 gram racket is designed to swing with mindless ease, and the near even balance will add some welcomed stability and pop to the equation. With this update Yonex introduces SV Frame technology, which combines a flexible carbon (called Nanometric XT) in the frame’s upper hoop with a speedy, more aerodynamic beam shape in the lower head. Yonex also adds its New Aero Fin grooves to the inner and outer section of the frame's head to reduce wind drag. Taken together these technologies should provide greater pocketing and easier racket acceleration (two features that definitely help with spin production). On groundstrokes the Isometric head shape will make this stick feel decidedly bigger, juicier and more forgiving than a conventional 645 cm² frame.
