Comments: Strung in DR100 at 53 lbs. It's stiff but power is still on tap, performs overall pretty good I can tell it's fairly durable for a poly. I will string at 49 to 51 lbs next time. Over 52 lbs I think it is too stiff and loses properties/elasticity. Good control, good spin, and tension maintenance. All around a solid poly. I'm still debating if I like this better than ALU power 16L. I definitely prefer it over Poly Tour Pro which is just too soft and low powered for me.

Comments: Great feel and spin with this string. Really wanted to like it but in the 16L gauge, it was too stiff at the tension I strung my set. Hurt my elbow after 15 minutes hitting with it. Strung at 56 lbs. in both directions in 2017 Pro Staff 97L. Probably should've dropped that tension from my normal 56 lbs. by 3-5 lbs. (give or take). Overall, like how the 16L grabbed the ball though. Going to try a set in 17 gauge to see if that is still as stiff and painful on my elbow.

Comments: I'm a junior ranked top 50 in NorCal for B16s and B18s, I was on a Diadem Sponsorship and then I broke all of my strings at practice one day and my coach let me borrow his racquet (it was strung with Hyper-G) -- I loved the string so much I put it in my racquets and actually switched sponsorships from Diadem to Solinco because of Hyper-G. I string it in my Wilson Blade 98L 16x19 at 48 lbs.

Comments: Awesome! I have been playing for more than 30 years. I can rally with open level players, but I'm a 5.5. I have tried many strings, mostly top brands. I have an all-court game. This string is the only one that allows me to hit all shots well. Not a lot of power, but a good balance between touch and power. Great for touch and punch volleys. I had to string 12 lbs tighter than I did with the 16 gauge version. So, it is 55 lbs in the mains and 57 lbs in the crosses in the current Head Radical Pro.

Comments: I tried this string today for 5 minutes in a racquet (Pure Aero) which I borrowed from a friend. It looked excellent. Spin, pocketing, control. It seems to provide a lot of confidence. I want to try it in my Pure Drive Roddick.

Comments: This string is like legal cheating. Seriously. Put it on my Yonex DR 98 at 53 lbs. The confidence this string gives you is incredible.

Comments: My typical string configuration is Babolat VS in the mains (57 lbs) and Luxilon Big Banger Rough (55 lbs) in the crosses (I used to use RPM Blast but prefer the Luxilon). I use a Babolat Pure Aero Plus and I have been happy with the results. I have seen the Solinco Hyper G string showing up on a few racquets lately (including Sam Querrey's) and I was intrigued. I restrung my trusty Pure Aero Plus with VS (55 lbs) and Hyper G (52 lbs) and it is the sweetest feeling bed I have played with. I can feel a nice, pure ball pocket with silky feel and no loss of power. I didn't notice any loss of spin as I was able to feather shots into tight spots. I can't tell you how confident I felt and I was banging serves into the corners with authority. I am a 4.5-5.0 player with a power game.

Comments: Like the way this string aids you to steer the ball with precision from all areas of the court. And it seems to be holding its tension well too. Awesome spin providing you have an ultra-fast swing speed. The Hyper G is on a par with Cyclone Yellow for overall performance specs. Both are quality affordable poly strings. Strung in the Donnay XRed 99 at 59 lbs.

Comments: First off, I just want to say that I have been trying out new strings like crazy the last few months. I tried multifilaments, top of the line polys, even some synthetic gut. But I finally settled on this string, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I strung it up in my trusty Yonex VCore Tour F 93 at 55 lbs, full bed. I've been playing with it for 3 and a half weeks now, and the tension hasn't dropped much. At first the string seemed way too stiff, and I made a comment to my hitting partner that it locked up my string bed like a jail warden. But a few days after that, the string finally broke in and it felt amazing, and played amazing too. I noticed that this string has more power than other polys (such as Revolution, Cyclone, and Hurricane), so I didn't have to swing as hard to get the ball deep, and I could focus on hitting with much more spin. The spin came easy thanks to the sharp 4 sides, which haven't lost their sharpness even after almost 4 weeks of hitting 20+ hours per week. Hyper G also has very good ball pocketing and snapback for a poly, allowing even more spin and control. My serve has more bite and jump than ever before, and my volleys are more crisp and clean than James Bond wearing a tuxedo. I'm a strong 4.0 level player with an all court game. I can counter punch, play aggressive or defensive at the baseline, and play serve and volley. This string allows me to play with confidence and I absolutely love it.

Comments: Excellent tension maintenance. This string hasn't dropped 1 lb of tension after the first 24 hours. Durable string with really nice grip on the ball. I am definitely able to get more action on the ball using this in my Pure Aero Tour. I had been using Tour Bite Soft for a while, and I did have tension maintenance issues with that string, but learned to deal with it. This string feels a bit stiffer, and I agree with those that say it's between Tour Bite and Tour Bite soft in terms of feel.
From:Ron, 9/16

Comments: It dropped tennsion like Polystar Energy. No match for Babolat, Luxilon, Kirschbaum or Pacific.
From:Jeff, 6/16

Comments: This is the best string I have ever played with. I have tried Red Code, Pro Line, Luxilon, Tour Bite, etc. This has by far the best feel and control of any poly and lets you swing as you hard as you can while feeling great on your arm. Definitely a must try!
From:Michael, 6/16

Comments: Really like this string in a Blade 98 18x20. Probably my favorite string on the market for a combination of spin, control, and feel. I would recommend trying it no matter what your playstyle is. Only downside is the lime green color. Please Solinco, give us a black, white, or grey option!
From:Beam, 2/16

Comments: This string is sick! Ball pocketing is amazing and it has a nice crisp feel to it. And the color? Sweet! Can't go wrong with hyper green! Laced up a Pure Drive and a Pure Aero with this string and all I got was pure awesomeness! Wow!
From:Jeff, 2/16

Comments: This string is awesome! TW said in their review that the Hyper-G was less powerful than Tour Bite but I thought the amount of power is a little bit higher for this string than Tour Bite. Also, it offers a lot of spin. Great ball pocketing! When I tried this string in my Babolat Pure Drive, I did not have any comfort issues. This string is in my top 3 of the best strings I have ever used in my life for sure!
From:Antoine, 2/16

Comments: Whoa! After Luxilon, Cyclone and more, I tried this string at the recommendation of a fellow player. Ha! It's like magic in a package. This string was soft enough to be super comfortable, powerful enough to hit ballistic winners and precise enough to yank my opponent around like a puppet. Love it! Not sure about the color, but the string's performance is unbelievable!
From:Mark, 12/15

Comments: Nice color! But everything else seemed kind of poor. To me, Solinco never got to the same level like Pacific, Babolat, Tecnifibre or Luxilon.
From:Fred, 11/15

Comments: This is my absolute favorite string I've played with to date. I have tried the 16 and 16L and love them both. It gives me a ton of easy power and spin but is easy on my shoulder. I also love how the green stands out. The tension holds nicely and I love the overall feeling of the Hyper-G. Good job Solinco!
From:Emily, 11/15

Comments: The people at Solinco have done it again! I was skeptical that I would find something that I enjoyed playing more with than the Tour Bite, but hearing about this new string, I had to give it a try. This string bites the ball like the Tour Bite and has a lot of pop too without losing control, which is an issue I have. I felt like I could hit pinpoint accurate shots all throughout the court. The feel was great as well and tension held up until it broke. The only thing I probably would change is the color, but I'm wiling to live with that for the performance and winning.
From:John, 11/15

Comments: This is the best string I've played with. Tried both the 16 and 16L. Lots of pop and spin but softer than Tour Bite. Three players I work with switched as well. A 45 year old 4.5 player switched from Tour Bite because of the arm comfort. One nationally ranked junior moved from Lux BB to Hyper G 16L because of the jump in power and another went from Head Reflex to Hyper G 16 because of the way the ball stayed on the strings longer. Everyone loves the green. Tried the 18 once for fun, but it broke way too quickly.
From:John, 11/15

Comments: Not too impressed. Not even sure what niche this string is supposed to fill in their product offerings beside being bright green. I'll stick with Tour Bite.
From:Tony, 11/15

Comments: Typical poly. Nothing special. I tried the 16L. Power wise, somewhere between Lux ALU BB and Lux 4G. Maybe a bit softer than those, though. I saw no reduction in power, no less "pop" or having balls landing 2-3 feet shorter. We all know poly string is not known for its power. In fact it is the reduction in power from regular string that allows us to swing out and keep the ball in court. I'd guess whoever made those comments strung their racquet too tightly. Spin, no extra spin than most other polys. Longevity, don't know because I cut it out because I like 4G better. That said, it is a bit less expensive than a lot of the top polys. If you can play with it, it will be more cost effective. So, it might be worth a try.
From:Marcus, 10/15

Comments: Like the Romulan Admiral once told me, one world's butcher is another's hero. Well pretty much same here with this string. One man's precision and control is another's total lack of pop. This string has zero! The ball had none. I must have lost 5-10 mph and 2-3 feet of depth on most everything. My buddy called my ball "mushy" which is never a good thing. Looks cool and may have been arm friendly but I just tore it out after a set. Not for me.
From:Mark, 10/15

Comments: Awesome string! It plays very similar to Tour Bite but a touch softer. It's super responsive and has tons of spin. The color is amazing too! The ball tends to get lost in the string bed giving you that edge! I was using Tour Bite Soft in a hybrid because of arm problems. But with Hyper G I go with a full bed strung three pounds looser. I have always been a big Solinco fan when it comes to strings and overgrips. All in all, a great string that's super arm friendly with the same shape as Tour Bite. It feels so similar to Tour Bite Soft, it could be called Tour Bite Extra Soft XD.
